Sub-Zero Hydraulic Cylinder

Our sub-zero hydraulic cylinder is designed for extremely cold environments and freezer applications. The operating temperature range is -40℃ to +80℃. It is suitable for polar equipment, cold storage and logistics machinery, and winter outdoor applications.

The cylinder features a fully welded structure. The barrel and end caps are made from 16Mn or Q345E low-alloy steel, which provides excellent resistance to brittle fracture at low temperatures. The rated working pressure is 16 to 25 MPa, with bore sizes ranging from 50 to 400 mm and a maximum stroke of up to 6000 mm.

This sub-zero hydraulic cylinder uses low-temperature polyurethane or silicone seals, along with specially formulated low-temperature grease. It ensures smooth startup and stable operation at -40℃ without seal hardening or leakage.

The piston rod is hard chrome plated, and nickel plating is available for enhanced corrosion resistance in low-temperature environments. All fasteners are treated with Dacromet or zinc-nickel coatings to resist corrosion caused by repeated thermal cycling.

Typical applications include dump truck lifting cylinders in mining operations, cold-chain logistics loading platforms, and ski lift tensioning systems. This cylinder is designed to maintain reliable performance in severe cold conditions.

Optional accessories include electric heating tape or a heating jacket to assist startup in extremely low temperatures.
