Swings Freely – Ideal for Tight Spaces
Our welded tang hydraulic cylinder features a fully welded body design. The tang (also known as a trunnion) is welded to the middle of the tube. It can also be welded at the head or tail, depending on installation requirements.
This design allows the cylinder to swing freely on the machine. The tang position, diameter, and width can be customized precisely to match your installation space.
The rated pressure ranges from 16 to 25 MPa. Bore sizes range from 63 to 320 mm, and the stroke can reach up to 5000 mm.
The tang and cylinder body are made from compatible high-strength materials. We use double-sided groove welding, followed by crack testing to ensure the tang can withstand heavy side loads without failure.
No Tie Rods – No Interference
Compared with tie-rod cylinders, this design eliminates external tie rods, avoiding interference during operation. It is ideal for compact installations requiring large swing angles.
Typical applications include excavator boom swing systems, dump truck bed tilting, lifting platform rotation, and shield machine assembly units.
This welded tang hydraulic cylinder provides smooth and stable motion. We can equip the tang with self-lubricating bearings or copper sleeves to reduce friction and extend service life. The sealing system is designed for high-dust and high-humidity environments.
