High-Temp Resistant Welded Cylinder

Our high-temperature resistant welded cylinder is designed for applications involving extreme heat and thermal radiation, such as steel mills, glass production lines, and hot press equipment. Standard cylinders often experience rapid failure under these conditions.

This cylinder features a fully welded structure for both the barrel and end caps, with no tie rods. The compact design improves structural strength and resistance to thermal deformation. Working pressure ranges from 16 to 25 MPa, with an optional upgrade up to 31.5 MPa. Bore sizes range from 63 to 500 mm, and maximum stroke can exceed 6000 mm.

The key to high-temperature performance lies in the sealing system. This high-temperature resistant welded cylinder uses FKM seals combined with high-temperature-resistant guide rings.

The operating oil temperature range is -20℃ to 200℃. External heat shields can be added for thermal protection, and a water-cooling jacket is also available as an option.

The piston rod is hard chrome plated, and ceramic coating is also available to improve resistance to oxidation and surface degradation at high temperatures.

Typical applications include hot rolling mill side pushing systems, casting machine mold extraction units, and incinerator feed push mechanisms. These environments involve extremely high temperatures, and this cylinder is designed to maintain stable operation under such conditions.

For high side-load applications, we can extend the guide length for improved stability. High-temperature dust seals can also be added to prevent contamination.

For severe environments such as continuous casting lines in steel production, air or water cooling circuits can be integrated to reduce seal temperature and extend service life.

We have supplied equipment to Baosteel, where our high-temperature cylinders are used in continuous casting production lines. Each product is fully inspected before shipment, and we provide a 12-month warranty.
