Push and Pull – Full Control in Both Directions
Our double acting tie rod hydraulic cylinder operates by directing hydraulic oil into two separate ports. Oil supplied to one side causes the piston rod to extend, while oil supplied to the opposite side causes it to retract. This provides powered movement in both directions. Control is precise, and operation is smooth. This cylinder complies with ISO 6020. The rated pressure is 16 MPa, with an optional upgrade to 21 MPa. Bore sizes range from 40 to 250 mm, and stroke lengths range from 50 to 2500 mm. This double acting tie rod hydraulic cylinder delivers stable and consistent force.
Smooth Internal Structure – No Sticking or Jerking
The cylinder barrel is made from precision cold-drawn tubing, with an internal surface roughness of Ra ≤ 0.4 μm, ensuring a highly smooth finish. We use imported seals to ensure low starting pressure, preventing stick-slip, creeping, or jerking during operation. The four tie rods are evenly preloaded to maintain structural stability. Even under high-frequency reciprocating motion, the end cap seals remain secure. Mounting options include front flange, rear flange, center trunnion, foot mounting, and rear clevis. Unlike single-acting cylinders, this double acting tie rod hydraulic cylinder does not rely on external force or a return spring for retraction.
Multi-Cylinder Synchronization Support – Fast Delivery
Typical applications include CNC hydraulic chucks, scrap shearing hold-down systems, and rubber molding press closing units. A buffering design is available for high-speed applications to reduce impact at stroke ends. The piston rod surface can be treated with ceramic coating or hard chrome plating, with hard chrome thickness of at least 20 μm.
