What Is The Standard Pressure For Hydraulic Hoses?

Feb 11, 2026

The standard pressure range for hydraulic hoses is typically 10~42 MPa (low to medium pressure) and 42~70 MPa (high pressure), with some special applications reaching over 100 MPa. The specific pressure depends on the hose type (e.g., the number of braided/wound layers) and standard (e.g., DIN, SAE, ISO). For example, a single-layer braided SAE 100R1AT hose has a working pressure of approximately 21 MPa, while a four-layer braided 100R12 hose can reach 70 MPa.

The standard pressure range for hydraulic hoses is typically 10~70 MPa, with special models reaching over 100 MPa. Our hydraulic pump station operates at 63 MPa (as shown in the product specifications) and uses a multi-layer braided steel wire structure to ensure high pressure resistance and stability.
