Specialized for High-Temperature Steel Mill Environments
The metallurgical hydraulic cylinder is a specialized actuator for steel mills and metal processing plants. It has a bore size from 100mm to 400mm and a rated pressure of 16 to 25 MPa. This product is built to withstand high temperatures, heavy dust, and strong impacts. We select high-temperature alloy steel for the cylinder tube and piston rod. The seals use imported FKM or high-temperature polyurethane materials. This product maintains stable sealing performance even at ambient temperatures up to 100°C.
Advanced Protection Against Dust and Corrosion
The piston rod of our metallurgical hydraulic cylinder has a deep hard chrome plating with a minimum thickness of 0.03mm. This provides excellent resistance to iron oxide dust and corrosive gases. The cylinder uses a multi-stage sealing system with wiper rings, dust seals, and main seals. This creates three levels of protection that block dust particles larger than 0.05mm. The tube welding uses a full-penetration multi-layer process with post-weld stress relief. Every product completes a 1.5 times rated pressure test and full-stroke function test before shipment.

The metallurgical hydraulic cylinder serves rolling mill screw-down systems and continuous casting mold oscillators. It is also used in ladle turrets and rolling line roll gap adjustment systems.
